Cozzo Motorcycles

A Brief History of the Italian Marque

Manufactured 1954-1955

At the 1954 Fiera Campionaria di Milano (Milan Fair) Cozzo displayed a motorcycle built in their small factory at via Stelvio 56.

The machine was technically interesting, with an horizontal OHC engine of 174 cc and a claimed 9.5 hp at 5,700 rpm.

It had a unit-construction engine, cantilever rear suspension and was decidedly avant-garde for the time, being fitted with electric start.

The company also advertised a motofurgoncini with the same mechanicals as the motorcycle and with a capacity of 3.5 tons.

It is doubtful that either machine achieved mass production.
